AI poetry and AI art with creative adjustments by Salie Davis-Seraphia and her celestial dragon intro poem

From the creative prompts and edits of Salie Davis and Playground - OpenAI API      Playground AI

“The author generated this text in part with GPT-3, OpenAI’s large-scale language-generation model. Upon generating draft language, the author reviewed, edited, and revised the language to their own liking and takes ultimate responsibility for the content of this publication.”

Playground AI is currently unlimited in content creation through AI with human prompts, you can add images as prompts as well. This is the process I went through.

I used this image, a picture I took,

The AI returned this. with the prompt girl with dragons and a celestial background (roughly restated because I used lots of variations and it required me learning and applying all the adjustments and filters of course)

This was only 1 of 24 images I choose to download out of about 70 AI images I generated with various prompts and setting adjustments. I selected bits and pieces I liked, opened up photoshop and my end result was this-

I went through a similar process for a poem using Open AI API.

I used the AI generated story short and asked for a poem, it gave me this...

Once upon a time, there lived an autistic girl named Seraphia and her faithful companion, a celestial rainbow-colored small dragon named Starfire.

Seraphia was a brave and determined girl. She faced many challenges in life due to her autism, and often felt misunderstood by those around her. Starfire, however, remained her faithful companion, understanding her needs and standing by her side through thick and thin.

One day, Seraphia was walking with Starfire when they stumbled upon a group of people who were mocking and teasing her for being different. Seraphia was about to cry when Starfire stepped in and roared fiercely, scaring the bullies away.

Seraphia was amazed by Starfire’s courage and bravery. From that day onward, the two became closer and closer, and Seraphia’s confidence began to grow. She started to believe in herself and her own strength, and slowly started to overcome the prejudice and misconceptions of those around her.

With Starfire’s help, Seraphia proved that true strength comes from within, and that being different is not a weakness, but a strength. She reminded everyone that we should not judge or label others based on their differences, but rather embrace them as unique and special individuals.

Through this story, Seraphia and Starfire showed us that everyone has the potential to be a hero in their own way.

not very poemy.

I added a request for a rhyming poem in A,B,A,B form and got-

Once upon a time, there lived a brave girl called Seraphia

Along with her faithful companion, a dragon named Starfire

She faced many challenges, due to her autism, feeling misunderstood

But Starfire was always there, understanding and being good

One day, as they walked together, a group of bullies started to mock

Seraphia was in tears, and Starfire stepped in with a powerful roar

The bullies ran away, and Seraphia was amazed at the courage of her friend

Starfire had proved that difference should be celebrated, not condemned

Starfire helped Seraphia to gain more confidence and self-belief

Slowly she started to overcome the prejudice, and find her own relief

Seraphia reminded us not to judge or label others, but to embrace their differences

That true strength comes from within, and that everyone has the potential for heroics

I added a nursery rhyme prompt...

Once upon a time,
A brave girl there did dwell
Her name was Seraphia,
An autistic girl as well

With her a dragon flew,
Starfire, a sight to behold
A celestial rainbow hue,
Their friendship was so bold

One day they walked along,
The bullies teased and jeered
But Starfire, oh so strong,
Frightened them with a roar

Seraphia was amazed,
And Starfire ever true
No longer feeling dazed,
She believed in her, too

True strength comes from within,
No matter who we be
We should not judge, or label,
But embrace all differences

This story showed us, in the end,
That everyone can be a hero
We should not judge or offend,
But love and let them grow.

So with this prompt-

Write a poem that rhymes in the style of a nursery rhyme in A,B,A,B, sequence using this text " Once upon a time, there lived an autistic girl named Seraphia and her faithful companion, a celestial rainbow-colored small dragon named Starfire. Seraphia was a brave girl. She faced many challenges in life due to her autism and often felt misunderstood by those around her. Starfire, however, remained her faithful companion, understanding her needs and standing by her side through thick and thin. and a lot of extra work on my part,
( I simplified the prompt and recycled the prior verses one by one.) I finally got the AI to write...

Once upon a time,
A brave girl there did dwell
Her name was Seraphia,
An autistic girl as well

She searched for her place,
Amongst the sky and stars
But she struggled to find grace
In a world that seemed so far.

She wanted to belong,
To fit into the crowd
But fear kept her strong
And she felt so alone and so cowed.

But then she found help,
From those who'd understand
Her journey they could help
In a way only they can.

And suddenly, she grew,
Confidence now in her stride
For she knew the answer to
The questions she'd asked inside.

With her a dragon flew,
Starfire, a sight to behold
A celestial rainbow hue,
Their friendship was so bold

A bond that could not be broken,
Unique, so very rare
A friendship that was unspoken,
The dragon's love was so fair

With her a dragon stayed,
A bond of trust and care
Amidst all the chaos it made,
A moment of peace they'd share

One day they walked along,
The bullies teased and jeered
But Starfire, oh so strong,
Frightened them with a roar

She stood up to their might,
Her courage they could see
They cowered in their fright,
Fleeing quickly away

Starfire's strength dismayed them,
Her bravery inspiring
No more would they harass them,
For their courage was admiring

Seraphia was amazed,
And Starfire ever true
No longer feeling dazed,
She believed in her, too

A day of hope, fulfilled
The future bright and new
As light began to build,
Her dreams no longer blue

Her courage had returned,
Her heart now filled with glee
For she had finally learned
That dreams could still be free

True strength comes from within,
No matter who we be
We should not judge, or label,
But embrace all differences

For this is what makes us unique,
A special kind of soul
A melting pot of cultures,
A bridge that we can toll

An individual beauty,
Is the best kind of art
And with this we can create,
A world without broken hearts

This story showed us, in the end,
That everyone can be a hero
We should not judge or offend,
But love and let them grow

We should never pick and choose
But learn to understand
The courage of our views,
To help another hand

Let's work together, side by side
To help the world become strong
For love and peace abide,
So we all can get along

Let's make this world a better place,
Where everyone can be their best
Let's make it a world of grace,
Where everyone is blessed

It is a simple and cute poem. Not literary genius, just fun. That being said this poem and image took two days of work, and I haven't even re-written the poem to make it actually good yet. This is a fun tool, much like Grammarly is for writing and photoshop is for digital art. I see these as tools to help inspire human creativity or to just have some fun.
